The Seniors Housing Alliance – Simcoe County (SHA) can’t solve the seniors housing crisis alone. We need a broad coalition of passionate people and organizations—like you—to help reimagine aging in our communities. Whether you’re a business leader, health professional, builder, policymaker, non-profit, or engaged citizen, your skills and resources can make a lasting impact.

What We’re Looking For

 We’re inviting partners who can help advance our Four Core Pillars:

  • Advocacy & Education
    Help raise awareness and influence public policy. We need voices that can amplify our mission across communities and all levels of government.
  • Aging in Place Solutions
    Work with us to improve home modification options, build secondary suites, and develop accessible design guidelines for seniors who want to stay in their homes. 
  • Innovative Co-Housing Models
    Collaborate on planning, designing, or financing new forms of intergenerational and senior-focused shared housing that offer both independence and connection. 
  • Supportive Services for Daily Living
    Offer or fund services that support seniors, such as homecare, transportation and property maintenance so they can remain healthy and secure.
